Michael W. Burt
Executive Director, Eagle's Landing Christian Foundation.
Michael Burt was born and raised in Brookhaven, Mississippi. He graduated with a Bachelor of Music and Masters of Music. After graduation, Michael served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1969 - 1972.
He has served in the church ministry for over 39 years. He was a Vice President with Bension Music Group in Tennessee. While working in the music industry, he received two Dove Award nominations.
Michael went on to receive additional studies in the area of Estate Design Strategies and Financial Counseling. He is a part of the Kingdom Advisors and Dave Ramsey Financial Coaching Group.
He is married to his wife, Jennifer, and has two daughters and four grandchildren.
Melissa Chapman
Chief Executive Officer, Southern Crescent Habitat for Humanity
Melissa is a native of the Southern Crescent. She holds a degree in Political Science from Georgia State University and a Masters of Business Administration from Wesleyan College in Macon, GA. She has lived and studied internationally in Saudi Arabia, Paris and Beijing. Melissa began her career with Delta Air Lines in the Finance Division. She has also held roles in banking as a Commercial Lender. She has extensive non-profit experience locally with United Way and Tourism boards. She is also a graduate of Leadership Henry. She has the principal responsibility of fulfilling Southern Crescent’s mission and accountability for establishing and delivering the best practices for every level of its program.
Jeffrey A. Cooper
Employed at Piedmont Henry Hospital in the south metro Atlanta area for over 17 years. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Systems Engineering from Georgia Tech and a Master of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University.

Hospital, Jeff worked as an operations improvement consultant for a
national consulting firm and at St. Joseph’s Hospital in
An active Rotarian, Jeff is a past-president of the Henry County Rotary Club, serves as a Trustee for the Georgia Rotary Student Program, and is an Assistant Governor for Rotary District 6900. He served a three year term on the national HIMSS board from 1996 to1999, and was President in 1998-99.
Jeff is also the owner of Southern Crescent Broadcasting and is active with the Henry Players.
Laura S. Crumbley is a Certified Public
Accountant and has been located just off the square in McDonough
since 1990. She has been practicing accounting since 1981
starting in Arkansas, Tennessee and then Georgia.
She is involved with many organizations
in Henry County. She served as president of the Henry County Rotary
Club in 1998-1999 and continues to serve as Treasurer. Other
assignments include Board Member for A Friend’s House, Charter
Member of McDonough Arts and served as Treasurer, Member of the
Promotions Committee for Main Street McDonough, Member of Cultural
Development Committee at the Chamber of Commerce, Member of the City
of McDonough Historic Preservation Commission and was a member of
the Leadership Henry Class of 2006.
She was honored in 2010 with the Legacy
of Leadership Award by Senator Gail Buckner, GA General Assembly.
She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and Georgia
Society of CPAs.
She is married, has three children and
six grandchildren.

Gerald received The Herman Talmadge Visionary Award in 2005. He was
a founding director of the Henry County Council for Quality Growth,
and has served on the Board of United Way and the Henry County Water
and Sewer Authority. He currently serves on the
Board of Young Harris College and
Gerald is married to Jo Andrews Hudgins from
John Lunsford
John has been a business owner since 1987. His company, BJL Enterprises, was formed in 1998. The company manages supplier purchasing, construction, customer service, sales and marketing of real property, both commercial and residential, including development in Georgia and Alabama. Prior to that, John was the President/ CEO of Harvard Chemical Research Corporation. The company began with a one product chemical manufacturing company operating in a small warehouse and in over the 12 years of management under John, the company grew to over 400 products with distributors nationwide. The company was ultimately sold to a larger corporation. John also served as a State Representative (2000-2011), serving as Chairman of the Small Business Development and Jobs Creation Committee, member of Rules Committee, Appropriations Committee, Health and Human Services Committee, and Judiciary Non-Civil Committee.
