David B. Turner, Mr. Turner graduated from Jonesboro Senior High School, then continued his education at the Georgia Institute of Technology and graduated from Georgia State University. He joined Clayton County Federal Savings and Loan Association in May 1971 as an Escrow Clerk. In or around 1975, he became a Mortgage Loan Officer and Assistant to the President of the Bank. In 1989 he was promoted to President and Chief Executive Officer. The title of Director was added in 1992. Mr. Turner served in these capacities until January 2001, when he was promoted to the position of Vice Chairman. Mr. Turner was elected Chairman of the Board in December, 2005. His civic activities include serving as a board member of Hope Shelter, an advisory board member of Habitat for Humanity, a member of the Jonesboro Historical District Committee, past Chairman of the Executive Committee of Historical Jonesboro-Clayton County.
Leonard A. Moreland, Mr. Moreland graduated from Morrow High School, and went on to graduate from West Georgia College in Carrollton, Georgia. He began his banking career at Trust Company Bank of Clayton County. In 1990, he was a part of the team that founded and began Southern Crescent Bank in Morrow. He served as Senior Vice President until joining Heritage Bank in 1996 as the Executive Vice President/Chief Administrative Officer.
During his time with Heritage Bank, Mr. Moreland served as a Director of the Bank and its parent company, CCF Holding Company while serving as President of Heritage Bank. In January 2006, Leonard was promoted to Chief Executive Officer.
His civic activities include being a member of the Advisory Board of the Clayton State University School of Business; he serves on the CCSU Foundation Board as a Vice Chairman, is Vice Chairman and a member of the Board of Directors of The Good Shepherd Clinic in Morrow and also serves as a Vice Chairman on the Board of Directors of the Clayton County Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Moreland and his wife Kay have one child and reside in Jonesboro. They are members of Eagles Landing First Baptist Church of McDonough.
